Yes, we do indirectly bail out business owners. They are allowed to wipe their debt with bankruptcy. Depending on how they structure their company, it can even be done with no damage to the person(s) in charge.

Since 2001

- Pretty much every airline had their debt wiped out after 9-11, and government took on the costs of security. Not sure if they were bailed our or not.
- Government bailed out the banks during the housing crisis. They made bad loans....people got displaced out of their homes, but the banks (and especially the executives got their money
- Government also bailed out the auto industry. Execs either kept their jobs or were given nice checks to leave.
- Big businesses also get massive tax breaks or state paid infrastructure to be able to build.

So yes, government spends lots of cash on the well to do....most supported by the candidates you choose to vote for ...the so called lesser of two evils...because voting for someone else (or no one) would be so BAD.

Now, another group of people (students with school debt) are lining up at the steps of the Capitol wanting their money...because trillions have been spent on others.

And your reaction is quite interesting...and actually quite hypocritical...I am sure you will say something like "government should not have done it" while you voted for those that were behind it.
