Trump in the most recent elections. Why do you think he suddenly changed sides in such fashion and began "chumming the waters" for Trump... by lying?

He's a wealthy man near the end of his life, why violate his own beliefs, and lie for a man whose views are opposed to his own, destroying his legacy in the process?
