First, you comment translates to "if he can recruit the talent to win an SEC title, he will win one".
Secondly, Missouri high school football doesn't produce that much talent, so he has to go elsewhere. What will attract enough talent from Texas and Florida to produce an SEC Title team. Does Mizzou offer recruits what does?
Thirdly, the SEC has a number of schools whose alums, fan bases, etc are obsessed with football. Mizzou's fan base is many things, but to say its obsessed with football success (except for some on Tigerboard) is simply not accurate.
Fourthly, the opportunity to win an SEC Title is likely limited by the fact that football appears to be unable to solve the CTE issue (note concussions are not the only cause of CTE and it's not necessary to suffer a concussion or concussions to develop CTE). Frankly, unless the CTE issue is seriously addressed and solved, I'd suggest it's more likely universities will stop playing football than Mizzou will win an SEC Title.
