Totally different situation, GP took over a program at ROCK bottom. Zero talent, Pathetic facilities, marginal fan support. And GP made strides from day one to improve everything.
Odom took over a program that had hit a speed bump, Nice facilities, tons's of support, Dang good talent on the Roster and he then ran it into the ditch like a Drunk. Took 9 returning starters from his own Defense that nationally ranked 6th and then bottomed them out to 118 nationally in his first year as a HC. On he offensive end Heupel did his job in Odom first year brought us to 48th offensively. Odom had the talent to go bowling his first year.
Odom destroyed fan support, look at attendance drop, blamed others for his failure see is Rant about how he took over a floundering program a pure Lie GP left him all he needed. And embarrassed himself against Purdue,Middle Tenn. st. Wyoming, never beating UK and only beating SC once. He had plenty of time to maintain what had been built. He destroyed it.
