For a program that most years a decent bowl game is success there’s not a lot of difference between going 7-5, 6-6 or 8-4. You still get a good bowl being in the SEC. So take a few chances out of conference. It will also give the fans a chance to travel to some cool places

Intense local marketing in the Jefferson city in Columbia areas. Maybe a big discount of tickets for the locals. You aren’t getting more fans out of the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
