They sold the selection rights to the bowls. There was also
Stipulations that members weren’t supposed to officially lobby
Or negotiate terms with bowls to be selected.
The bowls would fudge around selections in hopes of
Maximizing attendance.
In a way , these perceived oversights were our own doing ,
We don’t have the best history of bowl attendance.
But on the other hand the Orange bowl hyjacking and the lack
Of action about it from the b12 made sure the bowl process
Was meant to be vague, if nothing else.
