mean no more roads. I used that as an example to refute your statement that I'm not currently paying for roads, or that I will have to pay for all roads in the future.
I'm not looking for free roads. I just don't want nor trust the govt to provide them efficiently or safely, and I have historical and present day examples for feeling that way.
As for private roads having tolls, many private roads that exist today don't have tolls (because the developers want people to come to their developments). And, for longer roads, customers don't want to stop and pay tolls, so wise private companies won't have them (they could have computerized toll systems hooked into our cell phones for example). In fact, the only place I know where toll booths exist today are on public roads.
