keeping a few troops in Syria, or whereever. Try to be specific, and I don't mean by more pontificating about some undefined "moral obligation" and so on.

Yes, allies are fine, and I support the Kurds. But keeping a few troops on the ground there will NOT solve their problems. Those problems are caused by other muslims. Too bad that tells you nothing.
