attempt to hide my profession. I've been in various LE jobs for 30 years. let's take a garden variety assault report. if you come to me and say you were assaulted a report will be taken. if Joe Snuffy comes to me and says I didn't see it but I HEARD gmmm98 was assaulted I can assure you I'm not taking a second-hand report.

The law on assault wasn't changed. but the reporting requires more than hearsay; although you will not find that codified.

the whistleblower law as it relates to intel employees wasn't changed. The reporting requirements have. The reporting requirements were not statutorily spelled out, but they were most certainly administratively spelled out.

it's interesting that they were just changed. coincidence? Maybe, But the timing is indeed very strange.
