completely truthful. But of course that’s not the purpose of PR flacks, they would rather spin and make misleading or dishonest statements that put their client in the most positive light. In this case their falsehood was so obvious and blatant and sophomoric it was easily called out and refuted by the university.
The honest statement would have been to say the coach was fired, therefore he was no longer an employee, therefore the school closed the investigation without making any finding of any type, for or against the coach. That is the truth.
Saying the schools investigation did not find wrong doing on the part of the coach is completely dishonest and misleading. The investigation was in fact never completed.
