Regarding 4, pulling out of agreements, like the trans-pacific partnerships, allowed China to step into trade that otherwise the US would have secured.
Pulling out of the Paris Accord (which won't realistically take effect until 2020 or something like that), diminishes a leadership role.
Breaching the Iran deal with sanctions, permitted Iran to escalate uranium enrichment since the US was already in breach. The sanctions put the squeeze on our allies, which depend on the oil, and safe sea passage.
The China trade war has hurt the economy for farmers, who are greatly efficient producers, but with fewer customers to purchase.
Yes, all hurt economically and undercut the ability to be "top dog"
