virtue. They must take care of the people they see as inferior. As victims. As oppressed. As incapable of fending for themselves.
The paternalistic nature of liberals is disgraceful.
But human nature allows people to take the path of least resistance and get free stuff. And the alleged black leaders, or black pimps, thrive in an environment where they are the ones handing out the goodies. They are the ones, “fighting“ for the rights of the oppressed blacks
The reality of course is that the race pimps are in the league with the liberal racists to keep blacks on the plantation.
Back to Frederick Douglass’ comments, remember when we used to wish for a color blind society? Those days are long, long gone.
We now need a hyper sensitive racial society. Everything must be seen through the prism of the race. Every decision, every act, every thought, every hire every fire every promotion must be seen through the prism of race. A colorblind society is not it all what the virtue signaling liberals want.
Or need.
Liberal power comes from separating races and convincing one race that they need the liberals to help them. Because blacks are not capable of doing it themselves. But liberals get to feel good about themselves when they help the poor, hopeless, helpless, hapless black people. Very maternalistic. Very feminine.
