idiot. I never ONCE thought oh I'll join the military b/c i'm going to be making bank. I joined for a combination of reasons, tradition, service, patriotism, adventure, travel, and yeah some of the benefits (GI Bill) but paycheck was pretty much never considered.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
