My hours are somewhat skewed due to coaching but from August

to February I put in a minimum eleven hour day and usually have a couple of 15 hour days each week. During BB seasons Saturdays are usually four hour days and during VB they are a minimum of nine and sometimes as much as fourteen.

I know many regular teachers that are at school every day from 6 am until at least 5 pm. Because of the hours I spend coaching I usually try to keep my day to eight hours on normal work days.

How many other jobs REQUIRE that you continue to take college credit on your own dime just to keep the job you already have?

I had one week off at the end of the school year before summer workouts started and I had this week off. Our summer workouts are four hours per day and do not end until teachers report back to work the first week of August.

Teaching is not the same career it was 30 years ago.
