starts and ends at least thirty minutes before and after. That is the minimum.
I have had as many as five different preps at a time with a total of 50 minutes to prepare lessons for each, create homework and test, and grade everything. There is no way to do that in an eight hour day. My wife, also a teacher, chooses to bring work home with her. She averages about two hours per day doing school work from home. Much more at the end of a quarter.
