It is not the new people in government who are beholden to special interest. Do you really think a wet behind the ears junior senator who just got elected is more susceptible to lobbying than someone who has been there for three decades? If what you say is true then a majority of campaign contributions would go to the youngest members. Do you really believe that to be true?
