On top of which the degree to which Lobbyists already run the nation would get even worse if you always always had rookies and greenhorns in office.

I would strongly favor a TEN YEAR BAN on working as a lobbyist after one finishes a political term. That seems the most dangerous and pernicious revolving door in DC, the cashing in.
