Have read many histories of WWII and the run up to hostilities. Japan was not provoked to attack us by FDR's economic measures. The Japs should have ceased their campaign of conquest in Asia and the western Pacific and complied with American demands. The Japs were solely responsible for their belligerent actions and suffered accordingly.
