He regressed every year and was the 29th-ranked qb in his last season. This is a business, so owners/gm’s may overlook questionable behavior if they think the player can give them a significant advantage at their position.

I’d venture to guess Kaepernick is also demanding starter-level pay but can’t produce that kind of quality. Just look at how he has turned down offers - like the one from the Broncos.
