CK made his big-boy decision to conduct his big-boy protest on company time. Nobody is denying his "right" to do so. That you think he should be free of employer ramifications from doing so is both naive and disingenuous.
There isn't an employer in the world, ESPECIALLY ONE IN THE ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS WHOSE REVENUE IS DERIVED FROM ADVERTISING who wouldn't consider factors such as CK brings.
Clearly, employers think CK's behavior is more detrimental to revenue than are other crimes. That may be disgusting, it may say more about consumers than owners, but it's reality.
The CK protests were vastly more widely known than any other player's transgressions.
