3. Barry has done this to have it stop the run far better. This was identified contemporaneously by people who could tell what they were seeing, to little avail against the lazy whackos. This move has been very successful and paid big dividends this year.
4. Not necessarily Odom's individual fault.
5. He has not underachieved relative to the level of talent he was handed as a starting point. Pinkel's recruiting had nosedived and he had lost the locker room. It was a disaster. This was a turnaround. Yes, Lock, Beckner should be very much appreciated, but so much of the team out there making plays is actually a result of Odom's recruitment and development.
