5 black and hispanic boys were coerced into confessing to the brutal beating and rape of a jogger in the 80's, despite evidence making it impossible for that many people to be involved. One was at home during the attack and was told to accompany his friend for support during questioning.

Trump led the charge against them, taking out an ad in a new york paper calling for the death penalty. years later, dna evidence exonerated them. sued city and won. trump still refuses to apologize or say he was wrong.

just really hypocritical for him to now take this stance.
