He is not a D2 talent, and if he was in a backup shooting guard role I suspect he would be just fine at this level.

To some degree it is unfair we are asking him to do something he can't possibly accomplish, but he made great strides last season and considerable improvement. That still resulted in him being a huge liability though and I suspect he has pretty much topped out his ability to improve.
