My goodness if we have bombs then THEY will make bombs. If WE have missiles then THEY will build missiles and we will all die.

We should be nice to our enemies, so they will like us. Like iran and the haircut.

But it was the escalation of military weaponry that had a large role in the financial collapse and the ultimate defeat of the soviet union.

I posted earlier that the purpose of tariffs is not necessarily tariffs but to encourage or discourage behavior by our trading partners.

You guys always think america is weak and inept and incapable of doing anything right and at the same time guilty of every imaginable crime against humanity making us (sorry umm) unworthy of being the greatest nation on earth.

Maybe if we get into a trade war or tariff war...we will win. Maybe the other side will bow at the waist. And trade will be in balance. Prices will be lower and jobs will be saved.

Maybe.

I don't know. I am not even advocating tariffs because i don't know enough to do that.

Unlike the geniuses on the left who are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that increased tariffs will result in higher prices, a trade war - which we absolutely cannot win -and the end of the republic.

I am not smart enough to know, but i am willing to see what develops if we try it.
