factory and big company. Thousands of employees and plants around the country.
Business was great, exports were booming especially to china which recently started making widgets and put up a huge tariff on american (sorry for that word, ummm) widgets.
Your widgets are now overpriced internationally and domestically, the chinese are willing to lose money on widget sales in america in order to drive you out of business and corner the widget market.
The people who buy widgets are getting a great deal. Chinese widgets are a lot less expensive than your widgets.
That's good, right? Cheaper for consumers. Yay.
Ummm wants our president to bow at the waist and act like an adult. A cowardly, groveling weakling who happens to be over 18 and convince politicians to not impose tariffs.
Ever wonder why employment is up? Why jobs are returning to america (sorry again for the geographic reference, ummm).
Should ANY CONSIDERATION be given to workers here or just to consumers? And what if foreign countries are not as sweet as ummmm and the pickle, and are not so interested in their consumers as they are their workers?
Bow at the waist....?
And i was going to say, "Suppose you OWNED a widget factory..." but that would make ummm and the pickle uncomfortable, so i left it as is.
