mean he doesn't work hard. Genetics might make him the best player in the world. But the huge amount of effort that one has to put in to even get to the NBA is FAR more important than genetics. If he never practiced or only played pickup ball once a week his whole life, he wouldn't be a NBA player even with his genetics. Him practicing tens of thousands of hours in his lifetime is far bigger factor in his success than genetics.
I'm not saying genetics don't play a part. But they play a minor part when compared to effort and practice that one has to put in.
