Yes, it does buy only a brief window. And yes, Iran may be stronger in 10-15 years after economic sanctions are lifted, and they can re-buy centrifuges and heavy water reactors and enrich plutonium and uranium faster than before.
But guess what? They were on that path in 2015. They would have had a nuclear bomb by now. Hopefully, they want to remain in the international community. Hopefully the hardliners have died and the relatively moderate middle class can take over. Hopefully by then, they wont chant "death to America" in their parliament or burn our flag. Hopefully, they see that they can get what they want without a nuclear weapon.
The Iran deal is not perfect, but it is currently the best idea pitched in the international community. It delays a massive problem for 10-15 years. And if, by then, they want to build a nuclear bomb, then we will go right back to where we were in 2015 when this deal was made
