No! You really can't! Primarily because Football and Softball are in more different than apples and oranges. a) Football is dealing with over 125 attitudes where 85 are being paid to play. Softball, has far less to have to deal with. b) Football is THE high profile sport in high schools and colleges. Players come in with the attitude of being the man and find there is at a minimum of 84 more with the same idea and that's usually a problem! At most schools there will be anywhere from 5-25 expecting to be a pro an making several million dollars a year. Softball isn't high profile! The girls come in wanting to play while getting their education. They are not expecting to compete for draft position and make millions while dumping school in a year or two. c) The competition in softball is more about the fun than the money! d) The girls in softball wear make up and like to talk girl talk. The football players prefer to show off with their mouths if they don't have the ability. Those with the ability like to show off even more.
