Sales tax is not the same as the company paying state and local taxes. If you can't see that difference you can't be helped.

Furthermore, your original article makes it clear that Amazon is not paying state and local taxes, as they indicated that they support passage of a law requiring them to do so.

Don't let facts get in the way of what makes you feel good. Finally, as stated above Trump is bring stupid for engaging in this issue, but it is sad that you don't know the difference between collecting sales tax paid by the consumer and a company paying state and local taxes
