level basketball league in Turkey, that does not mean they are anywhere near the caliber of the NBA.
When it comes to soccer the MLS is the equivalent of Super Ligi. For decades people like you have been trying to pass second, or third, rate American soccer off as this great up and coming sport. MLS is huge in immigrant communities and an afterthought everywhere else.
In the early 2000’s the Royals were the joke of MLB and Sporting KC was competing for, and winning, championships. In the KC market Royals coverage far outpaced that of Sporting. In the KC sports market Sporting is still a distant fifth or sixth. It goes Chiefs, Royals, beaker BB, MU & K-State FB then Sporting.
Guys soccer at MU would be lucky to pull 200 fans and it would be in direct competition with football. Good luck!
