Many of the B1G's wrestling matches are televised on the BTN. Imagine the conflict of interest in putting a Missouri match (i.e. promoting an SEC school) on their TV network... it's just way too complicated...

And imagine if the tables were turned — do you think the SEC would take a B1G school (e.g. Indiana) as a single-sport member, and televise that school's games/matches on the SEC Network, and risk the possibility a B1G school winning an SEC title?.. Not a chance.
