Title IX would make it prohibitively expensive to have a soccer and wrestling program (from what I understand).

Our wrestling program has been successful in recent years, but has never been at a level that could win the NCAA national title (team title) of wrestling. There will always be a Penn State, or Ohio State, or Iowa, etc., that finishes ahead of us. And in a sport like wrestling, the only thing that matters is winning an NCAA team title, or a power conference title. No one cares about MAC titles.
