that supports that big of a roster,

and basketball can't - i'll never know.

I get that they will never draw the ticket sales as much as even a low developmental league. they don't have the years of developed fan bases. But they don't have near the overhead, either.

               The G League has better talent than college - wu-tangtiger MU - 3/5 14:49:14
Some of the kids will forgo it if they can get paid - BOILERTIGER MU - 3/5 14:20:03
This would be a terrible thing for these kids. (nm) - Uncle John MU - 3/5 14:32:52
     Won't that really hurt the NCAA's talent pool? - tgr MU - 3/5 14:10:02
          Probably would without changes on the NCAA's part. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:11:50
Yep, will be interesting to see how the schools adapt to - BOILERTIGER MU - 3/5 14:15:25
Not buying it. Major issue is the number of kids who - jumbo73 MU - 3/5 13:59:35

how can Baseball have such an elaborate farm system, - justwinbaby KC - 3/5 14:38:30
The first step IMO is ending the amateurism charade. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:09:38
It would have to be limited in such a way that schools like - myself MU - 3/5 14:22:44
The richest schools already get the best players - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:30:48
Poor argument. "It's already an unlevel playing field so who - myself MU - 3/5 14:38:24
The poor argument is that OSU and Texas will buy up - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:40:17
The top 25 richest schools (including fans and boosters) - myself MU - 3/5 14:44:55
Jerry Jones would have a minor league team in Fayetteville - hogfan14 ARK - 3/5 19:02:54
                                             I think you're vastly overestimating how much those schools - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:51:39
It would become a bidding war for each player. (nm) - myself MU - 3/5 14:51:59
                                                       I'm fine with that. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 15:03:11
Most AD's are already in the "red", they can't afford to - myself MU - 3/5 15:06:48
The bulk of the money wouldn't come from the schools. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 15:16:30
The money would come from many sources, especially - myself MU - 3/5 15:22:27
                         Schools wouldn’t really have to pay the athletes - wu-tangtiger MU - 3/5 14:25:22
As I said, that would ruin college sports. Schools with the - myself MU - 3/5 14:30:13
                                   Compare OSU and Purdue recruiting now. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:36:36
It would get even worse. Schools like Missouri, Illinois,... - myself MU - 3/5 14:39:35
How much do you think Texas would spend on a guy - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:40:43
                                                  Texas A&M just gave a $75 million contract to Jimbo Fisher, - myself MU - 3/5 14:47:23
And Alabama already gets the best players. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:52:15
Off the top of my head, James Foster had an offer from - myself MU - 3/5 14:59:00
                                                                 And he ended up at A&M. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 15:09:47
He decommitted after we went 1-5, which was understandable.. - myself MU - 3/5 15:20:01
Lots of low/mid-level schools would still be able to recruit - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 15:25:18
We'll have to agree to disagree on this. (nm) - myself MU - 3/5 15:34:43
                                   My proposal - BOILERTIGER MU - 3/5 14:35:25
the attraction college has over minor leagues, - justwinbaby KC - 3/5 14:42:02
                                        That’s what the G League is for - wu-tangtiger MU - 3/5 14:40:08
                                        Major pass on that for me. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:38:57
                                   Colleges could restrict that to a degree - wu-tangtiger MU - 3/5 14:33:08
                              Kinda what I was thinking - BOILERTIGER MU - 3/5 14:27:31
                    Yea there’s definitely a way to allow college - wu-tangtiger MU - 3/5 14:11:28
                         Those two things are mutually exclusive. - zodiac6 JC - 3/5 14:12:20
