I'm all in favor of pursuing your dreams, setting high standards, and I certainly think he can still develop into a good player.

But, when you are clearly beaten out by a less regarded PG and the coaches still start you for 19 games, when you perform as poorly as he did, you can't blame others. He just wasn't ready.
