I actually am fine with poor shooting.

Freshmen can struggle shooting the ball.

His defense and decision-making were pretty bad. Pull up practically any clip of him playing defense and he's getting beat.

Maybe with a year off he can work on his lateral quickness and find a program where he can be the man at PG. He's a good kid.
