They consider themselves an island, not part of the state according to Matter. I've been a fan of the sports programs since the 60's and the closest thing to a "dynasty" down there was Norm's teams from the mid 70's on, and he abandoned recruiting St. Louis. Maybe CM can change things there...I think he's got the best chance on the basketball side we've ever had, but I'd proceed knowing that area has just as bad a history with us as we've had with that area.
