carefully read St Thomas Aquinas’ five proofs of God’s existance and found each to be lacking IMO.
I enjoy reading others’ thoughts on the matter and have never read a proof of God’s existence that I found the be both valid and logical. Again this is just my opinion.
The most common mistake I see is the one where people discuss the long odds of all the things that would have had to randomly happen to produce life on Earth. While I agree with their premise the conclusion is always wrong. Given a large enough universe, and we believe it to either be infinite or near infinite, then even something with very long odds would not only have to happen but it would have to happen with some frequency.
I am not saying it proves there is not a God, it just proves that God is not required.
