they have not been honest about the nature of the injury or surgery. If the procedure was what they claimed it was, he could be practicing by now.

Now, obviously I can't state for certain that is what has happened, but it sure would make a lot of sense to downplay the severity of the procedure for the NBA.

If it was what they claimed, it also makes a LOT of sense to start playing and prove to the NBA that it was minor and that he's ok. Not playing, sure looks like a smokescreen.


Again I don't know for sure, but I know a lot of people who believe the reason he went to Dallas is because the MU team refused to operate, stating it was a bad idea. "bad idea" back surgeries are more serious than a microdiscectomy.
