Family.
Lorenzo Romar is family to the Porters. Choosing to go play for his dad and his god-father is not a slap at Mizzou. If you don't yet understand how close, how family oriented this particular family is, then is because you refuse to accept that people do actually chose family over all other considerations at times.
Sr.'s family members who were still in Columbia wanted him and the boys home. Columbia is home for the FAMILY.
As soon as the announcement was made that LR had hired Sr., I said MJP was gone. I was 100% correct. It was a matter of family. And when Sr. got fired, it was a no brainer that Jr. would follow. Now here is the part you don't get. MPJ didn't go off half cocked and say of course Mizzou when circumstances changed. He sought the counsel of the Almighty, just as he had before committing to Washington, rather than to assume, and THEN he made his announcement.
Even if his father had not gotten a job with Cuonzo, but had been in Columbia working, no matter where, he would have come HOME, to be with family and to attend the University of Missouri. You have a serious lack of understanding of the mindset of a serious Christian, and what drives our decisions.
