That is just, I don't know, odd. My best guess: his goal is to be a P5 OC and then be a HC somewhere. If Odom wasn't going to offer him the OC job ths year, then he'd have to leave MU at some point anyway to land an OC job. Therefore he's betting on either Huepel moving on to a P5 job and taking him with him or he thinks he has a better shot at OC at UCF sooner than he will at MU.
