could do so, and what effect would they have on the economy and upon people.

One of my daughters is taking an economics class that uses this website to model how their proposed economic policies would affect the economy in general and groups of people in particular:

I question how accurate their mathematical equations are in modeling the effects of the proposed changes, but they probably at least demonstrate the general effects of various changes.
