the only drug, other than alcohol, mentioned by the authorities so far is diazepam/Valium... and that was in June.

It sounds like he was planning this before that prescription was given.

Of course he could have had earlier prescriptions.

How difficult would it be for the authorities to track down any & all drugs he may have been prescribed? Does Obamacare's network centralize all of that?

Life insurance companies can apparently find that type of thing out pretty quickly, though I'm not sure how thorough that search is.
