I can have allegiance to the Almighty, and allegiance to my family, and allegiance to my friends. It is commonly referred to as loyalty. These things do not have to be in conflict. They can be, and often are, but it is not that way by definition.

You're taking an issue out of context and saying it applies to all situations. That is not factually accurate.
