pretty much exactly how I think about it.

The real issue as far as I can see is how we define the "right" to own guns. Personally I couldn't give a f*ck that a few hundred years ago people put it in the Constitution; that was a different world and isn't applicable to the present time.

But I'm also a pretty staunch libertarian and so it's a tough issue for me to reconcile.
