Over 1,600 people die of cancer every single day.
90 people in this country die in car accidents every day.
No one really bats an eye when this stuff happens, because it's part of the plan.
On Sunday night 59 people died in Vegas in a shooting, and the country stops for it and everyone starts yelling at each other. A tragic and completely unnecessary event no doubt, but relatively small scale. Even if you were one of the 22K at the concert, you had a quarter of a percent chance of dying. That's why I doubt you'll see any kind of sweeping changes, just a bunch of extremists from both sides yelling real loud.
