raising the fanaticism of existing fans than converting new ones.

Once the current core creates a Natty, or any time that core creates winning, then new fans get on board.

In a year like this, the fans have to carry the team, despite how bad it might get.

It's like raising kids, you just keep giving them a chance to grow up and hope that someday it happens...
