are both improved. The problem is getting all three facets of the game (o, d, st) moving in the same direction during the same game.
I would say that Mizzou's defense against SC was improved over last year's defense. A lot of the points given up were the responsibility of the offense and special teams. I think the defense will be improved over last year's defense.
The offense put up a clunker against SC but I would guess when it is said and done they will be better than last year. With all of the players back and Lock in his third year, it's hard not to expect them to be better.
They need to clean up the special teams.
