Way too much overreaction

This defense is very young and inexperienced. There were maybe two starters today with much starting experience - Beckner and Sherrils. There are a few others with some playing experience.
They weren't ready to play in the first half.
In the 2nd half, the D gave up about 96 yards and 8 points.
If you doubled that for an entire game, that would be 192 yards and 16 points.
If we had scored over 70 points and had over 800 yards on offense and our defense gave up 16 points and less than 200 yards, would you be panicking?
The defense needs to get better each week. The offense is there. This team has a chance to go to a bowl game. We will see week by week if they are headed in that direction.
