Well, first they ('ku') managed to beat Texas 84-74 to win the Big 12 Post-Season Tournament title (and by so doing become 'Big 12 champions') did they not? Think that might have factored in> Did you (conveniently) forget that?

And second how did 'ku' manage to be ranked #4 in the final AP poll of 2008?

Why is your assessment of the 2008 KU team's resume so radically different from the people who followed the game and covered it for a living in 2008? If the answer is SOMETHING OTHER THAN 'puerile, partisan butthurt', what, pray tell, do you think it might be?
