I never said children could throw beams, you did, I said they could throw baseball at the required speed. The force needed to displace the beams was much greater but just a tiny fraction of that available.
You continue to display your ignorance of the collapse. Yes, a vast majority of the materials fell almost straight down. But as the building fell some of those downward forces encountered resistance which deflected some of the material outwards. That is why the rubble field was considerably larger than the footprint of the building. Even in controlled demolishions where all of the supports are removed you have some rubble deflected outwards.
